Serene Sihanoukville

We took a 5-hour bus east along the southern coast of Cambodia, to a town called Sihanoukville. We were told this was the best place to get visas for Vietnam. We chilled out here for a day enjoying all the touristy amenities available...such as some tasty pizza.

This is Serendipity beach, but it looks like they ran out of room on their sign...

We took a stroll along the beach and came across many wandering food vendors, such as this lady who was selling some kind of spiced boiled eggs...they were green and tasty but a bit too salty.

This lady was selling 'squid on a stick'.

We watched the sunset from these comfy basket chairs on the beach...

...while sipping some 50c beers.

Our bungalow at the Big Easy Hotel.

The next day, after successfully obtaining our Vietnam visas, we hopped on a bus to Phnom Penh. We ended up having to wait for about 6 hours before boarding a night bus to Ho Chi Minh City. So, we walked around the city a bit, and came across this elaborate monastery.
